Blending facts and fiction that is indeed a pre-requisite for a full length feature, Va. Gowthaman has come up with a riveting flick that deliberates on the life and times of a real life hero who has been showcased with a lot of power and punch.
Samudrakani cuts a neat cameo in a brief appearance. Aadukalam Naren makes a mark while crossing swords with Samudrakani.
The first half sets the stage for what is in store in the second half leading to an absorbing climax.
G. V. Prakash Kumar ‘s tunes are as effective as the background score of Sam C. S.
Gopi Jagadeeswaran’s camera work warrants mention.
At no point has Gauthaman tried to politicize the sequences. Even while referring to political personalities both dead or alive he has been very careful ensuring that they are not presented in a controversial manner!
A flick that is certainly worth a watch…
