It is indeed a landmark film for the composer turned actor /producer Vijay Anthony as this marks his 25th film as actor after having debuted (as an actor) with Naan (2012) and as a composer in Dishyum(2006).
A real breakthrough as an actor through Pichaikkaran (2015) following which he has been tasting reasonable success time and again while his recent outing, Maargan, did well at the box-office.
Arun Prabu Purushottaman the maker of discerning films as Aruvi(2016) & Vaazhl (2021) has scripted and directed this film with the theme centred around a single man who wages a lone battle against the powers that be!
Of course, he is supported by a team of individuals who were benefited by him!
The villain in question is Abhayankar (Sunil Kirpalani) a business magnate who has high ambitions!
With a dark childhood, Kittu (Vijay Anthony), the protagonist grows up with the sole objective of wrecking vengeance while also extending help to the poor & the needy! He is a Mediator who manages to get things done even for those who are in highly placed positions but for a fixed price which includes his ‘cut’ too!
Things go haywire and Kittu is exposed and is put on the run.
Having been a close acquaintance of Abhayankar for long, Kittu gets into trouble with him and the chase starts leading to an action packed climax!
A few questions surfaced after watching the movie …Is a particular community being targeted?
Periyar and his ideologies are fine but does it mean that but for him, no local being would have used his/her sense of logic and the tendency not to analyse anything and accept things as they are!
Shelley R. Calist ‘s camera work is of a very high order!
Needless to mention, Vijay Anthony is stepping up the ladder steadily and stealthily!
A well enacted Robinhood Syndrome on the screen!
