The Kalaimamani Award has been announced to me on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government. I am very happy. Earlier, when Dr. Kalaimandi wrote an article in Murasoli about the Kalaimamani Award, he said, “This award given on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government should be accepted as a mother’s kiss.” That feeling is still in my mind.
To all the technicians, actors, and my friends who have traveled and worked with me so far, my family, especially my younger brother Bose, my elder brother, mother, and wife, who enthusiastically call me from the village to tell me even the smallest thing, everyone has a role in this.
My important friends all over the world have contacted me and congratulated me. I am happy. When I see their happiness, I feel that I still have a little more work to do and a lot more to achieve.
