Audio launch of ‘Dude’!
‘Dude’ is a film produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Keertheeswaran and starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamita Baiju. The audio launch of the film, which will be released on October 17th on the occasion of Diwali, was held today in the grand city of Chennai.

Playback singers Tippu & Harini said, “This moment is beyond words for us. We are proud as if this is happening to us. Sai’s hard work needs to reach even greater heights. At this age, he works 19 hours a day.”

Cinematographer Niketh Bommi said, “I and director Keertheeswaran worked together in the film ‘Soorarai Pottru’. I knew his interest when he was an assistant director in that film. After that film was completed, I introduced Keerthee to Mythri Movie Makers. They also immediately liked the ‘dude’ story that Keerthee told. This is the second film that Pradeep will be paired with after ‘Dragon’. You will see a mature Pradeep in this film. Mamita and Pradeep have acted in a competitive manner. Sarath sir has proven himself to be a senior actor in every frame. I have been a fan of Sai Abhaya’s melodious songs since before this film. I thank the film’s technical team, producers and all my team members”.
Actor Sarathkumar, “As a debutant director, the production company Maithri Movie Makers has given great support to Keerthiswaran. Actor Pradeep Ranganathan is a director who has the drive to do well in whatever he does. I am happy to act with him. When I first heard about my role in the film ‘Dude’, I said I would not act. But after Keerthy told me the entire story with dedication, I could understand that there is an effort to see a new Sarathkumar in this film. Mamita and Sai have all worked well in the film. Music composer Sai Abhayankar said, “It’s very emotional. I don’t know where to start. Keerthi narrated the story to me just two days before the release of my song ‘Kadchi Chera’. I immediately decided to work with her. It’s special that my first film is releasing on Diwali. Thank you to Pradeep bro, Keerthi bro, Mamita, all my producers. I wanted to cast Mamita in the song ‘Aasa Kooda…’. But, due to date issues, it couldn’t be done. Thank you to my parents who allowed me to do what I love. I hope you like the background score as much as the songs”.
Director Keertheeswaran said, “Like everyone else, I worked as an assistant director for director Sudha Kongara for 7 years. When I finished writing the story of the film ‘Dude’, I told the story to Niketh Bommi to see how my friend would react. He enjoyed it immensely and said he would talk to Mythri. But even then, I was not confident that the film would happen. Later, when I met the producers in Hyderabad and told them the story, they immediately liked it. Before the song ‘Urum Plaattum’ was created in the film, we could do it as we liked. We thought not to do anything for the current trend. But when the song was released, everyone liked it and it became a sensation. I told the story thinking what it would be like if the old Sarath Sara came in this film with an adal song. He also liked it. Thanks to Mamita too. ‘Premalu’, ‘Super Saranya’ “Whatever Will did, that will also be in this film. Apart from that, Mamita has also acted with a lot of emotion. In the film, you will also see Pradeep, the hyper one that everyone loves. On the other hand, you will also see another version of Pradeep who is mature and emotional. His age and energy are a great inspiration to me. When I was looking for a heroine for the film ‘Love Today’, I saw Mamita in a short film. When we tried him for ‘Love Today’, he was busy with ‘Vanakan’ and so we couldn’t catch him. But when Keerthi said that Mamita would be acting in ‘Dude’, it was a surprise. You will see Mamita in this film who you haven’t seen before. Neha has also acted wonderfully. Thanks to the entire team including Dravid, Rithu, Rohini ma’am.
