Directors Cheran and Vignesh Sivan have released the first look poster of the film Roja Malli Kanakambaram, written, directed and starring K.P. Jagan!
Director K. P. Jagan, who directed films like ‘Pudiya Geethai’, ‘Kodambakkam’, ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’ and ‘En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom’, is playing the protagonist in the film ‘Roja Malli Kanakambaram’, which is based on a true story and written and directed by him. Along with him, Vijay Varma, Sangeetha Kalyan, Pichaikkaran Moorthy, Diya, Ranjith Velayudhan, Vetrivel Raja, Dindigul Alex, Uriyadi Shankar and many others are playing roles.
National Award winner M. S. Bhaskar has appeared in an important role.
Director K P Jagan said about the film:
The interesting thing about the screenplay is that three stories travel in a straight line in the film Roja Malli Kanakambaram. For each story line, there are three songs and a fourth song where the three stories are connected. This will be a film full of importance for songs and background music.
Vijay Varma, one of the contestants of Bigg Boss Season 7, is playing one of the leading actors in the film. He is paired with Sangeetha Kalyan. He is paired with Vimal in the film Vadam. They act in one of the three stories.
Most of the scenes of the film have been shot in Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi, Manapadu and Kulasekarapatnam. The final stage of shooting will be completed in Chennai in November.
United Productions, which produced the timeless classic film Mayandi Kumbhathar, is proudly producing this film as its second work.
