Greetings.

I accept the Tamil Nadu State Film Award (Best Supporting Actress) for the film ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’ with all my heart and humility.

My heartfelt thanks to the Government of Tamil Nadu, the film crew, and the State Film Awards Committee for this esteemed recognition. Receiving this recognition in my homeland is an overwhelming experience that I cannot express in words.
I am indebted to Vijay Sethupathi Productions, Tribal Arts, and Mr. Vijay Sethupathi for having immense faith in creating a vibrant and realistic film like ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’.
My deepest gratitude to my mentor, director, and writer, M. Manikandan, for entrusting me with the role of Magistrate Mangaiyarkarasi. His clear vision, thought process, and depth are what shaped Mangaiyarkarasi.

My heartfelt thanks to all the actors who acted alongside me, especially Nallandi Aiya, who lived his character in every scene, and to the entire film crew.
The entire film crew is solely responsible for this film becoming such a masterpiece. Therefore, I cannot claim this award as solely mine; it belongs to all of us.
I am immensely proud that the film ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’ has received four awards at the Tamil Nadu State level. This award belongs to every person who wholeheartedly embraced the film and gave Mangaiyarkarasi a lasting place in their hearts. Because the state awards are a reflection of their recognition, not a commercial one. This is a significant milestone in my life. I accept this with immense joy and a sense of responsibility. My heartfelt congratulations to all the other award winners as well.

With love and gratitude,
Dr. Rachel Rebecca
