Films championing noble causes are indeed a rarity! Only a few films fit into that category!
Even when a flick travels in that direction, it appears more like a docu drama on most occasions.
Well, here is one such flick that crusades a social cause concerning women but which is presented in the form of a nail biting whodunnit kind of suspense thriller that is certain to draw the viewers to the edge of their seats!
Though the wrap up scenes speak of a social cause it doesn’t appear preachy but only as a matter of fact!
Surya (Anant Nag, he looks fit and fine!) is a no nonsense cop who is known to be brutal while delivering justice.
When he takes charge at Neyveli Police Station, 4 murders take place with the killer leaving behind no clue at all!
He is about to get married to a Journalist (Janany) who is the daughter of a retired cop.
Surya is baffled by the chain of murders but he doesn’t give up.
In the second half of the movie, the identity of the killer comes to the surface but it proves to be more of a shock than a surprise!
The climax portions have been well thought out and executed.
Yashwant Balaji’s camera has captured the Lignite town of Neyveli very well.
The Drone shots deserve special mention.
Karthik Era’s background score provides the much needed effect.
A well made crime thriller that involves a series of perfect murders!
