‘Kaalidas 2’ Movie Audio Launch Ceremony!
Produced jointly by Dr. N. Yogeswaran on behalf of Sky Pictures and distributor-producer ‘Five Star’ Senthil, and directed by Sri Senthil—who delivered the hit film Kaalidas—Kaalidas 2 is an intense thriller starring Bharath.
With the film scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 10th, its audio launch ceremony was held in a grand manner, attended by the film’s cast and crew, various film celebrities, and members of the press and media.

In particular, the fact that Ajay Karthik is joining forces with Bharath in a thriller film generates a heightened sense of anticipation for this project. Today, Five Star Senthil—who began his journey in the distribution sector—has achieved such success that every film he has touched becomes a topic of discussion in the media. Even films produced on a small budget are receiving a tremendous reception. This is a truly delightful sight for us to behold; such is the extent to which Tamil cinema has evolved. However, this journey of ‘Kaalidas 2’ has been no ordinary journey. It has been a long, emotionally charged odyssey—one undertaken with a blend of hope and struggle.
Following the success of the first installment, ‘Kaalidas,’ I received offers for larger projects and opportunities to collaborate with prominent actors. Yet, as I navigated that phase, circumstances shifted significantly. It was then that I realized a crucial truth: more important than simply making a “big film” is the imperative to make a “good film.” It was with this very mindset that ‘Kaalidas 2’ was conceived and set in motion.
My heartfelt thanks go to Palani Anna, who was instrumental in initiating this journey. Subsequently, Senthil Sir and Narayanasamy Sir provided this film with immense confidence and strength. What I envisioned merely as a “good film,” they have transformed and established as a project of grand scale and magnitude. The moment we brought Ajay on board for this film also stands as a pivotal event in this journey. This movie was produced under extremely challenging conditions, involving night shoots throughout its entire production. For an actor, securing a good director ensures that half the battle—and half the success of the film—is won right there. Senthil Sir proved to be exactly that kind of excellent director for me. Having him in my life is a true blessing. ‘Kaalidas’ marked a pivotal turning point in my career. Returning to this specific character once again—this time through ‘Kaalidas 2’—brings me even greater joy than before.
Initially, this project began as a small-scale crime thriller.
