Thyagarajan and the “Emperor of Music,” Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, have joined hands once more after 32 years and are set to greet audiences through the upcoming film Lenin Pandian. The film crew officially announced this exciting news via a wonderful short video.
A charming animated video—depicting Sathya Jyothi Films’ Thyagarajan and Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja traveling together in a car while listening to classic songs from their past cinematic masterpieces—is currently garnering an overwhelming response across the internet.
This dynamic duo has already gifted Tamil cinema with numerous unforgettable works. Notably, they have collaborated on over 20 films—including Moondram Pirai (1982), Thanga Magan (1983), Kaaki Sattai (1985), Pagal Nilavu (1985), Kadhal Parisu (1987), Kizhakku Vaasal (1990), Panakkaran (1990), Idhayam (1991), and Honest Raj (1994)—delivering several “cult classics” and securing a permanent place in the hearts of fans. This reunion is expected not only to rekindle wonderful nostalgic memories but also to offer a powerful cinematic experience to the new generation of audiences.
