Greetings!

I view this Assembly election much like a gripping motion picture—and not just a film with three acts; rather, it is a spectacle where every single scene is being watched by everyone—not just me—to “house-full” capacity, filling the streets and roads to the brim. The politicians—who view these teeming crowds as “fools,” or perhaps seek to make fools of them—are presenting this cinematic experience as a chaotic, mixed-genre “stew” of entertainment, blending elements of action, comedy, thriller, suspense, horror, and fiction. Neutral observers like myself watch this unfolding drama with fascination, yet with deep concern.

A “feast of lies” is being served up—much like a traditional Moi Virunthu (community feast)—and it remains to be seen whether the people are truly being drawn to it like flies swarming over food, or if the people, in turn, are merely looking to outwit the politicians themselves.

It is not the leaders who will govern the nation of tomorrow, but the youth of today! Therefore…

For the people to truly triumph, whom should they vote for? Nevertheless…

100% voter turnout remains our duty.
