‘Visaranai Kaithi’ Movie Music and Trailer Launch Ceremony
“K. Rajan Sir—an icon of courage—his passing comes as a shock,” expresses Perarasu with regret at the ‘Visaranai Kaithi’ event.
Cool Suresh gets emotional and sheds tears while speaking about the demise of K. Rajan Sir at the ‘Visaranai Kaithi’ film event.
“Producing a film in this day and age is no ordinary feat,” observes Salem R.R. Tamizhselvan during his speech at the ‘Visaranai Kaithi’ event.
“Vijay Sir’s success is a testament to the power of his vision,” says Master Mahendran, extending his congratulations to ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay at the ‘Visaranai Kaithi’ event.
“Much like the films ‘Visaranai’ and ‘Kaithi’, ‘Visaranai Kaithi’ is destined to achieve massive success,” predicts Director Perarasu in his message of goodwill.
Produced by N. Venkatesan under the banner of V.G. Cine Productions and directed by debutant S.R. Manikandan, the film Visaranai Kaithi has now been completed. Unni Krishnan stars as the male lead in this film, while Rithvika Shreya plays the female lead. They are joined by a host of other prominent artists who have played pivotal roles in the movie.
Chandran Sami has handled the cinematography for the film, while Naresh and Vijay have composed the musical score. Rajendran served as the film’s editor, and ‘Assault’ Madura choreographed the action sequences. Power Siva designed the dance sequences, while Kalaikumar and G. Saravanan penned the lyrics. Vijay Karthik serves as the film’s Public Relations Officer.
The music and trailer launch ceremony for Visaranai Kaithi was held on the evening of May 18th at Prasad Labs in Chennai. The event was graced by several special guests, including Perarasu (Treasurer of the Directors’ Union), actor Master Mahendran, Salem R.R. Biriyani Tamizhselvan, and actor Cool Suresh, among others. Speaking at the event while welcoming the guests, Producer N. Venkateshan said, “I would like to thank the press, the media, and all the special guests who have joined us today. I listened to many scripts, but the story narrated by Manikandan was the one I liked the most. It was I who came up with the title Vicharanai Kaidhi (The Interrogated Prisoner). The film has turned out exceptionally well, and I am certain the audience will love it. Expressing my gratitude once again to everyone who has come to offer their best wishes, I warmly welcome you all.”
Music Director Naresh spoke, saying, “Greetings to everyone. The background score for the film has turned out beautifully. It is set to hit the screens very soon. Thank you.”
Stunt Master ‘Assault’ Madhura addressed the gathering, stating, “My thanks go to the stalwarts seated on this dais. The fight sequences in this film were extremely challenging to execute. Since they involved a great deal of intricate choreography and combination moves, I had to work with immense effort to bring them to life. It has taken me 25 years of sheer struggle and hard work to reach the position I hold today. Once you watch these action sequences, you will truly understand who I am. I have also performed a cameo role in a film directed by Perarasu Sir. Once these films are released, my talent will be evident to you all; by the end of 2026, everyone will know exactly who ‘Assault’ Madhura is. Please watch the fight sequences; if you enjoy them, I hope you will offer your appreciation. Thank you.” Speaking at the event, the film’s protagonist, Unni Krishnan, said, “Good evening, everyone. My heartfelt thanks go to Mr. Perarasu for attending this function. I have admired his films ever since Thirupaachi, and I am delighted that he has graced this occasion with his presence. We had quite a difficult time tracking down Mr. Tamizhselvan of Salem R.R. Biriyani, so it brings me great joy to see him here today. My sincere gratitude also goes to actor Master Mahendran. The moment Cool Suresh—who is currently taking YouTube by storm—arrived, the entire event came alive. He never talks about the specific content we provide; instead, he always comes up with his own unique material to discuss. I am very happy that he could make it. The film’s Stunt Master, ‘Asaldu’ Madurai, has done an exceptional job. The cinematography has also turned out beautifully, as has the background score. The lyricists, Saravanan and Kalaikumar, have both penned some excellent songs. Most importantly, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the film’s producer, Mr. Venkatesh. I had never met him before; I am seeing him in person for the very first time today. He would only ever communicate over the phone. He would simply say, ‘Do a good job; even if the budget runs a little over, it doesn’t matter—just finish the project and wrap things up.’ Even though we invited him several times, he never once visited the film set. The reason for that lies with our director, Mr. Manikandan. He performed his duties magnificently. I have never encountered a director as calm and composed as him; he manages to extract excellent work from everyone without ever raising his voice or scolding anyone. I thank him for giving me this wonderful opportunity.” Speaking on the occasion, the film’s lead actress, Rithvika Shreya, said: “Hello everyone. I do not speak much Tamil, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes. I would like to thank Producer Venkateshan Sir and Director Manikandan Sir for giving me this opportunity. As Unni mentioned, Director Manikandan Sir is an extremely calm person; he never scolds anyone. Even if someone makes a mistake, he simply says, ‘It’s okay; do it again,’ and offers encouragement. This is only my second film, and I am not trained in stunts; yet, they have filmed the fight sequences featuring me in a truly engaging manner. I stood on the ground feeling quite apprehensive, but then Madhura Sir approached me, said, ‘Don’t be afraid—you can do this,’ and guided me through the stunts. The stunt sequences have turned out exceptionally well. When the film is released, please go to the theaters and watch it; I am certain you will enjoy it. [I would also like to thank] the Cameraman Sir…”

Vijay Sir has ventured into politics. Ajith Sir has turned his focus to car racing. In such a scenario, it brings me great joy to see all of you stepping forward to uplift and sustain the film industry. Just look at the monumental successes Perarasu Sir has delivered! It is truly a delight to see such figures here. The entire film crew has worked tirelessly; I pray that, by God’s grace, they achieve the success they deserve,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, actor Master Mahendran remarked, “It brings me great joy to see all of you here. It makes me happy to see you all smiling. I am delighted that you have come forward to support this film. Perarasu Sir is undoubtedly one of the finest directors in Tamil cinema. A filmmaker who has consistently delivered movies for the masses, he is currently extending his invaluable support to numerous other projects. I hold him in very high regard. Just as the Tamil language is beautiful, Tamizhselvan Sir is a beautiful soul; he has provided food to everyone who was hungry, and it is a pleasure to see him here. Our hero, Unni Brother, exudes self-confidence. He looks absolutely perfect in the police uniform. I extend my warmest wishes to him; I truly hope he achieves great success in the film industry. My best wishes also go to the director, Manikandan Sir. I am not sure if he was able to fully realize his vision in this particular film, but I sincerely wish that, in the future, he goes on to direct many major motion pictures. The cinematographer’s work was exceptional. The fight sequences were outstanding; I can truly empathize with the struggles our Stunt Master has endured—I am certain that the film industry will never abandon him. While I was conversing with the producer, he told me, ‘Brother, let’s collaborate on a film together’; that made me very happy. He is destined to succeed. Our current Chief Minister has helped many producers achieve success in this industry; therefore, I am confident that you, too, will find great success in cinema.
Rajmohan Anna has now entered the film industry. People may question his level of experience, but the truth is, he possesses a wealth of experience. Even before formally entering the world of cinema, he had already engaged in conversations with countless people. He has met and interacted with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds.” “He has spent a great deal of time interacting with those who are struggling and with the common people. I am delighted that he has assumed this responsibility. My best wishes to him. Regarding ‘our CM’—generally, I do not pay much attention to elections. However, I focused closely on this particular election; I watched closely to see what was happening to him and what actions he was taking. This victory is a triumph for him personally, and a victory for his vision. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him.
Everyone who acted in this film spoke with great confidence; my best wishes to them all. I have a great fondness for ‘Cool’ Suresh Anna (brother). He speaks boldly and possesses a deep love for cinema. Whether it is a small-budget film or a big-budget production, he actively promotes them all; my best wishes to him as well. I came here at the invitation of PRO Karthi; he is an excellent human being—someone who genuinely wishes for every film to succeed. I am happy to have been here; thank you,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, actor ‘Cool’ Suresh remarked, “Everyone was delighted upon watching the songs and trailer for the film Vicharana Kaithi (The Interrogated Prisoner). Among them, Mahendran was the one who seemed most overjoyed. As for the film’s hero, Unni Krishnan—more than his performance in the duet songs or action sequences—it was his beard that I liked the most! My best wishes to him. Every hero possesses a unique style; in Unni’s case, his beard serves as his signature style. My congratulations to the film’s producer, Mr. Venkatesh. One can tell simply by looking at him that he is a man entirely devoid of deceit or guile. Congratulations to the director, Mr. Manikandan. He carries himself with such quiet composure—a demeanor that clearly suggests his film will do the talking for him. Best wishes to the female lead, Rithvika Shreya, as well as to the actor who played the villain. Congratulations also to the music composer, the editor, the stunt master, and the entire crew.
Finally, regarding Mr. Rajan—this message is for you: you are a man of great courage and valor. Whatever difficulties you may be facing, please know that we stand with you. As your son has requested, I urge everyone not to spread baseless rumors or speculation regarding his situation.” On every single stage, you are the one who serves as the voice for the producers. People say that he scolds everyone; however, it is not scolding—rather, he offers counsel from the standpoint of a mentor. He raises his voice to ensure that no one takes advantage of small-scale producers. I do not know if I will even be around at the age of 85, but I am certain that he would remain just as majestic even at that age. A white shirt is his signature—and his very being, too, is pure. What exactly was troubling you, Sir? You had Mr. Perarasu and Mr. Udayakumar serving as your right-hand men; you could have at least confided in them. I understand how a person’s state of mind can shift as they advance in age. I know full well what becomes of a person—even one possessing wealth and status—if they find themselves without anyone by their side. Today, Mr. Vijay has risen to the stature of a Chief Minister. More than his own parents, it was Mr. K. Rajan who most ardently desired to see him succeed; he has expressed this to me on numerous occasions. Deeply empathetic to the struggles of producers, he would often remark: “A transformative political movement has emerged to uplift the plight of my fellow producers.” Yet, you acted so hastily—departing before you could even witness that change come to fruition. It was through him that I gained recognition, and he offered me guidance and counsel on countless occasions. It was only after that intervention that I “tucked in my tail”—so to speak—and began to walk a path of integrity.
I witnessed the anguish and desperation in Mr. Ravi Mohan’s cries. Every family faces its own set of problems; in whose family…

I also thank the film’s lead actor, Unni Krishnan.”
