Choreographer Radhika Master spoke as follows:
“Greetings to all the media friends present here.” I have known Sakho Ganesan, the director of the film Moondram Kann, for a long time. I have long admired his hard work, dating back to his days as an assistant director; this film stands as the ultimate manifestation of that dedication.

Securing dates from leading actors for a debut director’s film is often a challenge. However, the fact that talented actors like Vidharth, Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, and Thrigun have come on board speaks volumes about the strength of the story.

Producer Sasikumar Sir provided everything the film required without hesitation, offering his full support to ensure the project was crafted excellently. Vidharth Sir is known for always choosing good scripts. Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, and Thrigun have also delivered performances marked by great dedication. The female leads, Teju and Abdulya, worked with a highly professional attitude; notably, they delivered excellent performances without wasting time, even in challenging situations.

The technical crew—including cinematographer Udhay, art director Michael, and the music composer—have also done a fantastic job. I am confident that Moondram Kann, born out of this collective effort, will be well-received by the audience and achieve great success. Thank you. Art Director Michael said…

Editor Ramar said…
“Greetings to everyone. ‘Moondram Kan’ is a very important film for me. I had heard this story about two years ago, and I felt a strong connection to it right from the start. Later, Director Sakho Ganesan invited me to work on the project.

“The screenplay is unique and crafted to keep the audience engaged right until the very end. Usually, editing work allows for plenty of time, but in this case, we had to complete the film within a very tight deadline. Nevertheless, the entire team worked hard and executed the task brilliantly.

I was particularly impressed by Director Sago Ganesan’s hard work and his unwavering faith in the story. He approached the film’s design and the arrangement of scenes with a very clear vision.

The cast—including Vidharth, Kalaiyarasan, Thrikun, and Santhosh Prathap—has done complete justice to their respective roles; their performances will be a major strength of the film. The entire technical crew has worked with great dedication.

Producer Sasikumar Sir paid close attention to ensuring the film is released at the right time and in the right manner. His patience and confidence are truly commendable.

The film ‘Moondram Kan’ holds many surprises and unique elements that the audience will certainly appreciate upon its release. I request the media and fans to extend their support to this film. I offer my heartfelt wishes for its grand success.”

Music Director Rajprathap spoke as follows:
“Greetings to everyone. Working on the film ‘Moondram Kan’ was a wonderful experience. Although I had previously worked on several commercial films, I had always harbored a desire to compose music for a suspense thriller with a strong screenplay. This film gave me that opportunity.

I came on board after meeting Director Sago Ganesan and Producer Sasikumar Sir. By then, the film had already reached the editing stage. When I first watched the trailer, I was captivated by the making, the visuals, and the screenplay. The script is so intriguing that one cannot fully grasp the story in just a single viewing.” “The film’s greatest strengths are its screenplay and characters. Actors such as Vidharth, Kalaiyarasan, Thrikun, and Santhosh Prathap all signed on for the project because they believed in these elements.

Composing music for this film was a challenging experience for me. I had to craft a score that drew the audience into the story without giving away its suspenseful elements. The task was made easier thanks to Director Sagho Ganesan’s clear vision. Working alongside technicians like cinematographer Udhayakumar and sound designer Sathishkumar, we placed great emphasis on sound and background music. Additionally, we utilized a wide range of live musical instruments for the film.

‘Moondram Kan’ has emerged as a technically and narratively strong film. I hope fans and our friends in the media will support the movie and make it a success. My thanks to everyone.”

Actress Athulya Chandra spoke next:

Every film offers an opportunity to learn something new. The highlight of this experience for me was working alongside such talented actors. Vidharth, Santhosh Prathap, Teju, and Kalaiyarasan are all exceptional artists, and it was a pleasure sharing the screen with them. I extend my gratitude to producer Sasikumar sir and the entire team for this opportunity. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the director, technicians, assistant directors, and the entire crew who worked so hard to bring this film to life.

Thank you to our friends in the media for your constant support. I request you to extend your support to ‘Moondram Kann’ as well. Thank you.”

It is only at events like this that I get the opportunity to meet you in person; so, I am very happy to see you all here. The film ‘Moondram Kan’ is very special to me. Director Sakho Ganesan, producer Sasikumar, and the entire film crew worked with great dedication. I would especially like to thank Sasikumar sir for his constant encouragement. Working with everyone—including Vidharth sir, Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, and Thrigun—was a wonderful experience. Kalaiyarasan is like a family member to me. He encouraged me by giving me complete freedom, telling me, ‘Do whatever you feel is right.’ That was a very significant experience for me. My gratitude goes to cinematographer Udhay, music composer Rajprathap, the art director, the editor, and all the technical crew members.

“Greetings to everyone. First, I apologize for arriving late. My thanks to producer Sasikumar anna and director Sagho Ganesan for giving me the opportunity to act in this film. Unlike the usual comic roles I play, I was given a unique character in this movie. It was a fresh experience for me. I was delighted to work alongside talented actors like Vidharth, Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, and Thrigun.

Everyone on the set was warm and cooperative. The director has crafted a very engaging story. I believe ‘Moondram Kann’ will certainly captivate the audience. My thanks to the film crew for this opportunity and to the media friends who have been offering their support.”

Actor Santhosh Prathap said…
“Greetings to everyone. Working on ‘Moondram Kann’ was a wonderful experience. The film crew felt like a family. Even though filming wrapped up quite some time ago, the same affection and friendship continue among us all.

In this film, I have portrayed a character unlike any I have played before. This movie has given me the opportunity to break the mold of being seen only in similar types of roles.” “I thank Director Saho Ganesan for placing his trust in me. ‘Moondram Kan’ is not merely a suspense thriller; it also delves into the darker side that exists within everyone. The film’s ending will leave the audience reflecting. It has been crafted as a unique, experimental venture.

Producer Sasikumar sir has always been supportive, like an elder brother. My gratitude goes to him and to all the actors and technicians who worked on the film. ‘Moondram Kann’ will offer a fresh experience to the audience. I hope everyone supports the film. Thank you.”

Actor Thrigun spoke as follows:
“Greetings to everyone. Cinema is a collaborative effort. In that spirit, I must first thank Director Saho Ganesan and Producer Sasikumar for creating an environment where we worked together like friends.

A tragic incident occurred in my family during the film’s shooting. The crew fully cooperated by rescheduling the shoot for my sake. I will always remain indebted to Sasikumar sir for that. Furthermore, he is a producer who honestly handled all matters—including remuneration—without me even having to ask. That is a rarity in the film industry.

Director Saho Ganesan captivated me the moment he narrated the story. I agreed to act in the film immediately after hearing the plot; the screenplay is that compelling. Actresses Teju and Athulya worked with great dedication; I was particularly impressed by Teju’s approach. Working with Viddarth, Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, Sarath, and the rest of the team was a wonderful experience.

‘Moondram Kan’ is a unique thriller. My thanks go to all the actors, technicians, and crew members involved. I hope the audience supports this film and makes it a success. Thank you.” Director Saho Ganesan spoke as follows:
“Greetings to everyone. ‘Moondram Kan’ features a unique commercial screenplay. We have employed the ‘Rashomon Effect’—a storytelling technique famously used in films like Virumaandi—to craft this narrative. When I pitched the story to producer Sasikumar, he readily agreed to produce the film with complete confidence in me, despite me being a debutant director. I extend my heartfelt thanks to him for that.

While writing the script, I had specific actors in mind for certain roles. Vidharth, Santhosh Prathap, Kalaiyarasan, and the rest of the cast have all delivered performances that exceeded my expectations. Kalaiyarasan’s role, in particular, was highly challenging; he has nuancedly conveyed every aspect of the character—from body language and voice modulation to his overall acting.

During the shoot, I realized that casting Santhosh Prathap for his role was the right decision; he has brought the character to life on screen with great natural ease and elegance. Thrigun, who initially intended to decline the offer, came on board after liking the story.

All the actors involved in this film placed their trust in the project and joined the team immediately after hearing the story. The shoot…”
“I shared the emotional essence of the story with everyone on set just once. They grasped it completely and conveyed it through their performances. Initially, I didn’t know much about Teju, but she agreed to the project without hesitation as soon as she heard the story. She would arrive fully prepared with the dialogues for the next day’s scenes and deliver precise performances. She also did an excellent job with the dubbing.

Similarly, we selected Abdulya through an audition video; we really liked the clip she sent. She fully lived up to that promise in the film.

John Vijay plays a crucial role in this movie. Although he participated in the shoot for only a short period, he worked with total dedication on every aspect, including dubbing. While Sarath usually plays comedic roles, he has delivered a brilliant performance in a completely different kind of character here.

The entire technical crew—including music director Rajprathap, cinematographer Udhayakumar, editor Ramar, sound designer Sathish, colorist Prashanth, and designer Chandru—has done an outstanding job. Their contribution was immense, especially in creating this film within such a short timeframe. Furthermore, the assistant directors and the entire film crew worked incredibly hard; it is thanks to their dedication that the film has turned out so well.

The movie ‘Moondram Kann’ is releasing on June 12th. It is a suspense thriller featuring a unique screenplay. I urge everyone to visit the theaters, watch the film, and show their support. Thank you.”

Actor Kalaiyarasan said…
“Greetings to everyone. Working on the film ‘Moondram Kan’ was a truly memorable experience for me. The film crew functioned like a family. It brings me joy to see that the same affection and friendship persist among us, even long after the shooting has wrapped up.

In this film, I have portrayed a unique character—one unlike any I have played before.” “I have always believed that an actor should not be confined to specific types of roles but should be seen in new dimensions. This film has offered me that opportunity.

When Director Saho Ganesan narrated the story, I was immediately drawn to his vision and the uniqueness of the screenplay. Beyond being a suspense thriller, the film delves into the darker sides of human nature. It contains elements that will leave the audience thinking long after the movie ends.

Producer Sasikumar sir has always been supportive, acting like an elder brother to everyone. Working with the entire cast—including Vidharth, Santhosh Prathap, Thrigun, Teju, and Athulya—was a delightful experience. The technical crew has also contributed brilliantly.

‘Moondram Kann’ is a unique venture. It will certainly offer a fresh experience to the audience. I urge everyone to watch it in theaters and show their support. Thank you.”

Actor Vidharth spoke as follows…
“Greetings to everyone. The experience of acting in this film was truly special. Notably, I had very few dialogues in this movie. As an actor, conveying emotions without relying on dialogue is a challenging task. However, the confidence and guidance provided by Director Saho Ganesan helped me portray the character effectively.

I have known the director for many years. He had narrated a story to me quite some time ago, and I had promised back then that I would definitely act in any film he made. This movie became the opportunity to fulfill that promise.

Through this film, I got to know Producer Sasikumar sir much better. Despite being in the film industry for so long, I have rarely come across producers who settle actors’ remuneration before the film is even completed and genuinely care for everyone involved. In that regard, Sasikumar sir is a truly honest and humane producer.” “My heartfelt thanks to him.

It was a pleasure working with the entire cast of the film. Even upon seeing the trailer, I felt this movie would offer a unique experience. The music, too, has turned out exceptionally well.

‘Moondram Kann’ is a commendable effort born of everyone’s collective hard work. I am confident that the audience will enjoy this film. I urge everyone to support it. Thank you.”
