Way back in 1991, Idhayam was a super hit flick that was successful both critically and commercially.

Thaman S., who started his film career as an actor with Shankar ‘s Boys (2003) prior to turning a composer, has enacted both the roles here excelling as an actor more than that of a composer!
Preity Mukundhan who had a blast playing an action heroine in the recent film, Blast, plays a pivotal role in the proceedings.
