First Look and Glimpse of ‘Vetta Saami’ Starring Arulnithi and Ameer Released!

Produced by 7 Miles Per Second Productions and directed by M. Selvakumar, the new film ‘Vetta Saami’—starring Arulnithi and Ameer—has garnered a tremendous reception from fans following the release of its first-look poster and glimpse. Film personalities RJ Balaji and Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled these materials.

Arulnithi and Ameer play the lead roles. Notably, the film is crafted to focus on the story and characters rather than featuring a conventional female lead role.

The narrative centers on the worship of ancestral deities—specifically the powerful guardian deities of the Nellai region, such as Sangili Boothathar and Sudalai Madan. ‘Vetta Saami’ has been shaped as an action-emotional drama that transcends caste and religious divides, capturing social issues that have persisted for generations and reflecting the lived realities of the people.

In the first-look poster, Arulnithi appears with an intense gaze, captured in the midst of a frenzied, trance-like ritual dance associated with the deity. The background features a massive deity statue and folk art performances, highlighting the film’s rural and spiritual backdrop.

The ‘Vetta Saami’ glimpse begins with the voice of Villisai artist Madhavi and introduces the characters played by Arulnithi and Ameer against the backdrop of traditional deity worship. Blending rural life with a spiritual essence, the glimpse offers a unique experience for the audience.

The first-look poster and glimpse have been warmly received by fans and are currently going viral on social media. The film features a cast that includes Aadukalam Naren, Madhusudhan Rao, Harish Peradi, Viji Chandrasekhar, Indhumathi Manikandan, Myna Nandini, Director Tamil, Kavitha Bharathi, Ayaz Khan, TSK, O.A.K. Sundar, and Arjai in key roles.

Written and directed by M. Selvakumar (who previously directed Bumper), the film is produced by Samuel Mathew under the banner of 7 Miles Per Second Productions. Ghibran is composing the music, while R.D. Rajasekhar handles the cinematography and Ruben is in charge of editing. G. Durairaj serves as the art director, and ‘Siruthai’ Ganesh is handling the stunt choreography.

With principal photography fully completed, the film is currently in the brisk stages of post-production. The previously released first-look poster and glimpse video have heightened anticipation regarding the film’s plot and characters; consequently, Vetta Saami—marking the collaboration of Arulnithi and Ameer—has garnered significant attention among fans.
