One of the finest films of the times, this is!
A well crafted sports film that has been brilliantly scripted and helmed by Nikhil Premraj who has utilized the contributions of some real life characters in the film, especially Messie Lionel the Football Champ from Argentina.
IM Vijayan the real life Football Coach appears as himself in the film and is very natural.
But the film ‘s USP is the presence and performance of Dhanish, the cute looking little boy who plays Ummer, proving a scene stealer!
Amal appearing as the Captain of the 7 Star Boys Football Team comes next and his expressions are a treat to watch!
Anthony Verghese has underplayed his character well while his efforts to win the hand of the local bigwig ‘s daughter’s hand have been subtly presented in the closing portions.
Faiz Siddik’s camera work and the score of Jakes Bejoy have immensely contributed to the film’s smooth run.
The theme is about the passion of a bunch of kids to play in the under 14 Football Tournaments.
A movie that should not be missed…
