Dr. Shivarajkumar & Abhishan Jeevinth Film Titled ‘PICASSO’! Actor-Director Rishab Shetty unveils the First Look
The Kannada Superstar and the next-gen sensation come together in a striking new-age entertainer directed by debutant Gowtham Sivaraman.
The title and first look of the much-awaited collaboration between Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar and young sensation Abhishan Jeevinth have been unveiled, introducing the film as ‘PICASSO’. Filmmaker-actor Rishab Shetty, one of the iconic personalities of Indian film industry released the first look. Presented by Drama Company, the film marks an intriguing coming together of the legendary star’s commanding screen presence and the distinctive energy of a next-generation artiste, with filmmaker Gowtham Sivaraman making his directorial debut.
The first look immediately grabs attention with its unusual visual language. Dr. Shivarajkumar and Abhishan Jeevinth appear together in traditional white attire, seated with an effortless, almost mischievous coolness, amid a striking spread of spent firecrackers. Their relaxed postures and expressive presence create a striking contrast against the explosive setting, while the hand-painted yellow lettering of ‘PICASSO’ adds a vibrant artistic edge to the frame. The visual leaves behind a sense of curiosity, hinting that the film could be as unconventional in its storytelling as it is in its appearance.
The collaboration between Dr. Shivarajkumar and Abhishan Jeevinth adds another layer of excitement to the project. While Shivarajkumar continues to command a massive following across languages with his charismatic screen presence, Abhishan has emerged as one of the promising new-generation talents following the success of his directorial Tourist Family and as an actor in ‘With Love’, where he has captured the young crowds. Their pairing, bringing together two distinct generations and sensibilities, makes PICASSO an especially intriguing proposition.
The film is written and directed by Gowtham Sivaraman, with Leon James composing the music and Pragadeesh Prabhu handling cinematography. Suresh is the editor, while Swathi Ramakrishnan takes care of the costumes and Viju Vijayan is the art director. Shivani Nagaram plays the female lead and Yogalakshmi appears in a pivotal role and singer Gana Vinoth makes his acting debut.
Produced by A. Balamurugan under Drama Company, the film is co-produced by R. Kaarthikeyan, Dinesh Balachandran and R. R. Deepan Raj, with Green God and D Pictures associated with the production. With filming completed and post-production currently underway, ‘PICASSO’ is poised to reveal more about its distinctive world through its upcoming updates.
