Govind Vasantha has delivered fantastic music and BGM. We’ve seen his brilliance in 96, but Anbil Avan will showcase a completely different side of his talent in a commercial film. He truly deserves much more recognition.
Anbil Avan is about strong women and a man, and what he is willing to do for the women he loves. I’m especially grateful to our producer @abinaya_selvam, who has been a tremendous support to the entire team and constantly encourages new directors.
@AshokSelvan’s biggest strength is his curiosity. He always asks how he can make things better. I’ve known him for around 10 years and have seen his journey closely. He has worked extremely hard and continuously invests back into cinema, especially in supporting new filmmakers.
@PreityMukundan has been equally dedicated. From the first shot, she kept experimenting and perfecting every detail. She has done an amazing job, and I genuinely believe she has a huge future ahead as both a star and an actor.
Gautam and Balaji sir have also done a fantastic job with the visuals and colour grading.
As a first-time director, finding a hero like Ashok who is willing to go all in for the film and support every creative decision is extremely rare.
For me, Anbil Avan is only the beginning. Thank you, Ashok bro.
