Arjun Das’ ‘John Doe’ to hit theaters on November 13!
A mysterious, character-filled poster… Arjun Das’s ‘John Doe’ arrives with a release date!
‘John Doe,’ a psychological crime thriller starring Arjun Das, is set to release in theaters on November 13. The film’s team has officially announced this with a striking new poster.
The poster is designed to evoke the mysterious atmosphere of a crime thriller. Against a backdrop of red and black, it features Arjun Das prominently, dressed in a police uniform. Surrounding him are images of various characters, enigmatic scenes, and elements that hint at clues related to an investigation. The expressions on the characters’ faces and the interconnected arrangement of the photographs build anticipation regarding the complex mysteries at the heart of the story. Featuring the title ‘John Doe’ and the release date of November 13, the poster has successfully piqued the interest of fans.
The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Mediaworks—the production house behind grand-scale projects like ‘Baahubali’—and is directed by Madhumita. Alongside lead actor Arjun Das, the cast includes Sanjana Natarajan, Srushti, Zara Vineeth Santhok, Neerav, and several others. Director Madhumita and Nicholas Chevaillier have co-written the story and screenplay for the film.
Preetha Jayaraman (ISC) has handled the cinematography, while Mujeeb Majeed has composed the music, with additional musical contributions by Artist 404. Vijay Venkataramanan has overseen the film editing, and Ashwini Kale has served as the production designer.
“The story revolves around the question: Who is ‘John Doe’? Is he a victim, a murderer, or a missing child? As Chandru embarks on a quest to uncover the truth, a chilling question arises—what if no one is truly prepared to face the reality of who John Doe is? The screenplay has been crafted in a way that makes it difficult for the audience to predict the outcome.”
The fact that Arjun Das is playing a police officer for the first time has further heightened anticipation for the film. His appearance in a police uniform on the poster, alongside images of mysterious characters, sparks various questions about the film’s plot.
With production by Arka Mediaworks, a unique role for Arjun Das, and direction by Madhumita, ‘John Doe’ has generated significant excitement and is set to release in theaters on November 13th.
