The first look of M. Sasikumar starrer “Freedom August 14” directed by Satyasiva has been released !!
“Freedom August 14” is an upcoming thriller drama film produced by Vijaya Ganapathy Pictures, directed by Satyasiva of Eagle fame, starring M.Sasikumar and Lijomol Jose, produced by Pandyan Parasuraman.
Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, Kannada actor Kicha Sudeep, music director Devi Sri Prasad, Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan and music director Jeevi Prakash shared the first look of the film on social media.
The first look is stunning, giving the fan a glimpse of a story set in a very different realm. Sasikumar’s never-before-seen look, with people standing on a boat in the middle of the sea, amid a crackling fire, is fueling the excitement for the film.
In another poster, Sasikumar, who expresses his feelings deeply, Lijomol’s look and the name of the film are very interesting. These two first look posters are garnering huge response from the fans.
Director Satyasiva, who attracted attention with the film Kalgugu, is making the film as a stunning thriller drama based on a true incident in the 90s, with an exciting screenplay.
As the story takes place in the 90s, the film crew has worked hard to bring that period to the screen perfectly. The team has shot the scenes of the film on a huge set on the East Coast Road to reflect the 90’s era. The entire shooting of the film has been completed in Chennai and Kerala.
Director actor Sasikumar plays the lead role in the film in a different role. Lijomol Jose, who grabbed the attention of Jaybeam, is playing the female lead in the film. Sudev Nair, who is a threat in Bollywood films, plays the villain in the film. Along with them, KGF Malavika, Bhosvenkat, Mu Ramasamy and Ramesh Khanna are playing important roles.
Pandian Parasuraman, who has worked as Nirvad producer in many big films in Tamil, is producing the big budget film for the first time under Vijaya Ganapathy Pictures.
While the shooting of the film has been completed, the final post-production work is currently underway. Announcements about the teaser and trailer of the film will be officially announced soon.
