Debutante director Arvindh Srinivasan takes off to a reasonably good start with this multi-layered crime thriller that packs a powerful punch at places with unexpected twists and turns!
Right from the moment go, the screenplay travels at a good pace without any deviations and distractions to the core of the plot! The first time filmmaker deserves a pat on his back for not compromised with commercial ingredients!
For that matter, the hero, an undercover cop means strict business without indulging in other activities staying glued to his assignment wholeheartedly!
Arulnidhi holds the fortress well and goes about his character in a thoroughly professionally manner.
Madhoo as a senior police official doesn’t impress much; more so, she doesn’t possess that commanding stature her character demands!
The theme is about a writer (Achyut Kumar) who lodges a police complaint that the characters that he conceived and crafted in his crime novel come alive and threaten him! He even writes that the DGP’s (Madhoo) will be kidnapped and it happens! Further, whatever happens around, he writes about them in advance!
The services of Vikram Kumar (Arul Nidhi) an undercover cop is sought to solve the case and how he resolves the mystery is the fairly interesting rest.
P.G.Muthiah’s cinematography and the background score of Ghibran warrant mention.
