In the sixties movies that showcased emotional contents were lapped up with both the hands; moving on further action movies ruled the roost!

Cut to the present, Kuruthi Aattam whose USP is mainly action has its emotional side too and Sri Ganesh who took off to a flying start with 8 Thotakkal (2017) has sprung up with this flick after a gap of almost half a decade but his flair for filmmaking which he had exhibited then remains perfectly intact!

There is nothing new as far as the theme is concerned but what makes viewing interesting is the manner in which he has blended all the ingredients in the right proportion is good enough and deserves mention.

With the action-blocks taking precedence over the other aspects of the film, Atharva has executed himself effectively with his swift movements in those well choreographed sequences!

Priya Bhavani Shankar looks fetching and the romantic track involving Atharva and her passes off, cutely.

The bond between Atharva, employed as a medical attendant and a little girl suffering from a strange disease has been appreciably mounted and presented.

The second half becomes a mere tale of revenge with the protagonist all set to hunt for the identity of the person who killed his friend, leading to a predictable climax with a not so impressive pre-climax sequences.
