Mithran R. Jawahar who has already teamed up successfully twice (Yaaradi Nee Mohini in 20008 and Uthamaputhiran 2010) has collaborated once again here, that too still more successfully, thanks to the brilliant performances of the lead and supporting artistes.

The absorbing screenplay conveys quite a lot of life-lessons without being preachy but as a pure entertainer loaded with lots of humor!

Raashi Khanna’s character though appearing only for a brief while puts across points to distinguish between flirting and falling in love from the perspective of a dreamy girl of the contemporary times!

The main plot is woven around a youth named Thiruchitrambalam (Dhanush, brilliant, as usual) whose dad Neelakandan (Prakashraj, comes good in the scene where he apologizes to son for having been careless and to caused the death of his wife and daughter, though inadvertently). But the pivot of that threesome family is the senior Thiruchitrambalam (Bharathiraja) who is the connecting link between his son and grandson!

Yet another powerful character is that of Shobana (Nithya Menen), their neighborhood acquaintance who is almost like a part of that family!

The theme is about a youth’s search for love while being unaware of the ‘candidate’ is waiting just next to him!

Two other heroes (behind the camera) are Anirudh Ravichander and Om Prakash , kudos to their contributions (music and cinematography).

A breezy entertainer that comes in like a whiff of fresh air.
