Arivazhagan, one of the most noteworthy directors amidst all the erstwhile deputies of Director Shankar, proves his credentials yet again through this investigative thriller teaming up again with Arun Vijay after Kutram 23 (2017)
The plot is very pertinent to the ongoing piracy issue prevailing in the film industry that is actually rocking the film industry shaking it clean as far as generating revenue with the release of the movies which suffer enormously owing to the fact that the films get released online prior to the release or even in parallel, thereby robbing the revenues!
Arun Vijay has excelled in the role as ACP carrying the character quite effectively and efficiently, thereby executing it brilliantly! His style and signature quotient in the action sequences deserve mention. But should cops keep smoking all the while, always, while cracking challenging cases on hand!
Vani Bhojan is good and lights up the screen whenever she appears and is undoubtedly impressive!
Iswarya Menon hasn’t much of work here as there i not much of a scope for her character!
Tharun Kumar fares satisfactorily.
Every single sequence associated with the crime of copying movies online and uploading them-very meticulously thought of and mounted. Even minute detailing has been done with utmost care.
There are two stars here-Global Star and Adiradi Star-Arivazhagan never ever shows their faces on the screen which is an interesting move!
Also, the hardcore fans of the cine stars-most of them boys of impressionable ages with most of being disrespectful to their parents-these characters have been well created and presented on the screen in a very realistic manner!
As a matter of fact, the director has takes the viewers on a journey about the modus operandi of how these opportunists exploit the film producers milking them exhaustively and leaving them dry and drained out at the end!
When the viewers are almost made to feel that the piracy menace has been rounded and finished in full, the director comes up with an unexpected twist!
With never a dull moment, the narration is of a steady pace gaining momentum time and again drawing the viewers to the edge of suspense!
