Following Amazon Prime Video’s original Tamil web series ‘Suzhal – The Vortex’, Pushkar-Gayatri’s own film company Wallwatcher Films has released the preview of the upcoming web series ‘Vadanthi- Fable of Veloni’.

Actor S. J. Suriya said, “Andrew Lewis, the director of this series, is my assistant. I feel proud to act in his first web series under his direction. He already told me a story in 2017. Then he said to him, ‘The two of us working together will create great expectations. So write a strong story,’ I said. This time he came with a good story. Thriller has a lot of entertainment in it. It also has emotional stories. It will attract the audience a lot.
The clear planning of producers Pushkar and Gayatri, the international collaboration of Prime Video and the hard work of director Andrew Lewis are all my blessings. That is, I feel privileged to have acted in a web series for the first time in collaboration with an internationally renowned digital platform called Amazon Prime Video under the direction of my assistant.
It is only through the work of talented directors that an actor can gain fame as a great actor. In that way, I am sure that I will get the best actor name as I have acted in the serial ‘Vadanti’ directed by my assistant. ‘Truth will happen. There is a verse in this series as “Poi Philum” which is spoken naturally by the people of Kanyakumari area and it is suitable for this series. It can be incorporated as a tag line.”
Director Andrew Lewis said, “Gossip – not just in this society, it’s all over the world. Generally speaking, I think gossip was the first thing that man invented for his entertainment. In the chorus of ‘Yagavarainum na kakka..’, even if one cannot control anything, one should at least know how to control the words that come out of one’s mouth. This is Thirukkural. No one has told the story of this Thirukkurala in such a strong and poignant way. I thought maybe it would be nice to say this politely. I always thought this would be good.
Three years ago I met Aparna Ma’am of Amazon Prime Video in Mumbai. I narrated the story of the 20 minute gossip series. They immediately understood the content of the story accurately and asked to start the tasks with enthusiasm. He also gave creative freedom. I thank him at this moment for this. After that I wrote the script for this series for 11 months. Producers and friends Pushkar-Gayatri read the entire script and gave their best advice here and there.
I started my film journey from SJ Suriya. Directing him in this series feels like a dream come true. SJ Surya is the director and actor. But once on the sets he is only an actor. I would like to thank him for this. I would also like to take this moment to express my gratitude to the actors Laila, Sanjana, Vivek Prasanna, Nasser, Kumaran Thangarajan and the technical artists including Saravanan, Simon K King, Kevin who have acted in this series.
The preview of Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Rumour The Fable of Veloni’ is out. It is visited by many visitors. The series will release on December 2nd in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and more than 30 international languages in 240 territories.
