Kalva’ to join international film festivals!
Produced by Maryam Theatres, the short film ‘Galwa’ has won awards at international film festivals.
The film ‘Galwa’ won four awards at the International Salchitra Rolling Film Awards in Kolkata – Best Thriller, Best Story, Best Screenplay and Best Director. Similarly, at the 6th International Bioscope Film Festival of Kolkata, ‘Galva’ has received 3 awards namely Best Tamil Film, Best Thriller and Best Cinematography.
‘Galwa’ has been selected to screen at the First Time Film Maker Session Film Festival in Buckinghamshire. It has been screened at Mumbai International Short Film Festival and Satyajith Ritwik Mrinal International Film Festival. It has also been selected to screen at the UK’s Lift Off Filmmaker Session Film Festival. Similarly, the jury has chosen to screen at the First Time Film Maker Session in Manchester. Also, ‘Kalva’ has been sent to many international film festivals.
This short film is written and directed by Zia. Composed by Jatrix. Cinematography by Sharan Devkar Shankar. Afzal has written the story. Edited by Frame. The movie will be released on YouTube soon.
