Directed by Kamalakannan, who directed films including ‘Madhubanakadai’ and ‘Vattam’, the film ‘Kurungu Petal’ starring Kali Venkat in the lead role. It is an adaptation of the short story ‘Bicycle’ written by Rasi Alagappan. In which Santhosh Velmurugan, V.R. Raghavan, M. Gnanasekar and many others have acted. Actor Sivakarthikeyan is releasing this film composed by Gibran. The film will hit the theaters on May 3.
The writer of the film, Rasi Alagappan, said, “The story of this film is something that happened to me and my father when I was six years old. Thanks to the director Kamalakannan for filming it.
