Super natural thrillers are a rarity at Kollywood and this well conceived and crafted flick stands out well both with respect to the construction of the premise as well as execution!Ramachandran B., has fashioned the screenplay in a very effective manner and the ensemble cast headed by Gayathrie and Bala Saravanan (two familiar faces) fill the bill adequately.The theme is set around a reserve forest area and a man from the neighborhood is assigned with the task of taking a group of young people on an expedition into the jungle.To avoid crossing the checkpoint, he takes him through a short cut route.Despite his warning that they should not enter restricted areas, they categorically over stretch their limits inviting danger.Unmindful of the democle’ s sword hanging over their heads! A mysterious figure appears and disappears and the youngsters are shaken.An unexpected twist in the tale giving a jolt not only to the one surviving but to the viewers…Rajesh Murugesan’ s background score adds to the eerie effect.Parthiban’ s tight closeups generate the much needed horror-effects.
