With Kabbadi as the denominator, Unni Sivalingam has woven a plot that deliberates on gang wars with two gangsters crossing swords for one man -up -ship while there is also a smoking woman who too is a contender!
The youthful Kabaddi team consists of Shane Nigam, Shanthnu & 2 more men who breathe the game in and out!
Shane is holding the torch for a local girl but she has some conditions for approval.
Inadvertently, the players get acquainted with one of the bigwigs (a brilliant Selvaraghavan!) and as the screenplay unfolds, they get into deep trouble and at point towards the end, they take to their heels as Selvaraghavan and his henchmen pick up their hunting weapons!
A bloody climax showcases more of blood shed and more men, two of the Kabadi players included, die a blood-soaked death!
It is just about the right time for the two, left out, lead players of team who are forced to get engaged in a face-off!
The final showdown is a revelation!
Both Shane Nigam and Shanthnu have executed themselves well in both the action and emotional scenes!
Sai Abhayankar ‘s score uplifts the proceedings.
A well presented action thriller.
