Akiran Moses, who served as a long-time associate director to filmmaker Pa. Ranjith, makes his directorial debut with this film.
Designed with a unique graphic aesthetic, the First Look poster features a scene depicting G.V. Prakash and Sreenath Bhasi confronting each other amidst the bustling traffic of a Chennai city street.
Centering on a road altercation—an everyday occurrence we often casually overlook—this poster has generated significant anticipation regarding the film’s storyline.

The core theme of “Vekkai” revolves around the ego, rage, and unforeseen consequences that often lie hidden beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary road disputes in our daily lives.
Director Akiran Moses describes the film as a complete commercial action thriller entertainer; featuring a fast-paced narrative set against the backdrop of human psychological complexities and emotions, it blends elements of romance, comedy, family dynamics, and high-octane action.
Set against the backdrop of Chennai city, the story features G.V. Prakash in the role of a spirited and dynamic young man. Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi plays a pivotal character, while Shivani Rajasekar stars as the female lead. Additionally, Sunil, Mime Gopi, Lingesh, Lisa Chinnu, and Lakshmi Priya play key supporting roles.
G.V. Prakash has composed the music for the film.
