Films based on caste based clashes aren’t exactly new to Kollywood as many such flicks have adored our screens very many times!
Well, here is one more!
Cinematographer turned filmmaker Thangar Bachan ‘s son Vijith Bachan bows his entry into filmdom playing a man victimised by the powers that be of that halmet, his own mother included in the conspiratorial plot.
How he avenges the wrongs of those who put his life at stake is the reasonably tolerable rest.
It is an oft repeated theme but the counter actions are different but certainly crude!
There is a dialogue which goes like this, quoting Bhagavath Gita -whenever atrocities reach a peak, I shall appear to set things right!
As a counter, there is another -maybe, the atrocities happening currently aren’t sufficient for Him to appear!
Why take such a dig at a particular religion?
Do the Gods worshipped by the others following other religions, make an appearance to mitigate or resolve issues!
The other two religions have been evidently projected in good light!
The counter reactions of the protagonist in switching the just borns in order to teach a lesson to their respective fathers who are religion-fanatics is rather debatable!
The Maestro ‘s music is a redeeming factor.
Vijith shows a lot of promise on the merit of his potential to perform.
The others in the cast are passable.
