Over a period of time, Neelam Productions has grown up to become a platform-provider for aspiring filmmakers, actors, actresses, technicians etc who have been waiting on their wings to dish out tales that are offbeat as well as daringly different serving hot stuff on the table while proclaiming that human values and emotions are both well above all!
Questioning time tested customs and traditions while championing the cause for a scenario that is thoroughly secular has been the accepted norm of all such ventures.
Well, here is yet another served on the platter!
Both Dinesh and Kalaiarasan excel in their respective roles trying to pull the rug under each other purely on the merit of their respective talents!
Rithvika is good in an effective character.
Bala Saravanan too creates a flutter while Shabeer and Muthukumar lend weightage to the proceedings.
Vinsu is impressive.
Justin Prabhakaran ‘s score and Prateep Kaliraja’s camera angles are both supporting pillars of the enduring script.
With the screenplay set against the lovely backdrop of the hilly terrain of Thandakaranyam, it has its narration revolving around the lives of tribals of that area who contribute to the growth of the forest area while the Forest Department tries to preserve, with a few corrupt officials trying to make hay whenever the sun shines!
How things take shape finally is the emotional rest…
How innocent job -seekers get lured by the two-timing authorities into surrendering before the Law as Naxalites and how are exploited is the crux of the plot…
A heart touching flick!
